Fun Day Bun Day!

Hey Loves

I had to share this little obsession of mine just because I'm totally addicted to the  beautiful ballerina bun at the moment! I wanted to share some of these gorgeous pics of the hair style that I am completely taken with because I honestly find it so beautiful and so classy.
I remember the days that I thought "sexy" was all about the long tussled hair with volume overload ( don't get me wrong I still love voluminous hair)  but at the moment I am really all about the all natural styles and clean blunt cuts / short do's.

So on Lai's Birthday and few various occasions ha ha "a few"  - I tried to recreate the look.
I love how clean, sleek and simple this look was to achieve.

How stunning is the braid from the nape of the neck.

At night time, I dressed the look up with some bold red lips and dark prominent eye colour.
Because my hair was pulled away from my face,  I really felt so liberated, like my face was the focal point of the look instead of the long wavy hair which is usually draped beside either side of my face.

Through the day, I dressed the bun with lighter face of make up, clean eyes and peachy cheeks. I tried to make the bun more of the focal point of my look.
I also tried to messy it up a bit to look more on the casual side of things.
Overall the bun is classic, beautiful and most of all  its EASY! I can't believe Ive only just started abusing this hair style now ha ha

At the end of the day hair is hair - it doesn't make or break you. Its just hair so don't stress if its a mess, just love who you are and enjoy every look you create for yourself- that's what I say anyway!

  4. wow you look so classy and polished <3 I always used a hairagami to make my buns, I spent like 2 hours in 4th grade sitting in my closet learning how to do it but after I figured it out it always worked perfectly :)
