For Us!

I was on Soroptimist - Women website the other day and read that:
"between 12.3 million and 27 million Women are enslaved in forced or bonded labor, child labor, sexual servitude, and involuntary servitude at any given time."
How extremely sad that bit of information made me, but then snap quick I realised that ares still so many issues and a lack of progress that women in may countries face. e.g. reproductive rights, population issues, discrimination, violence, and then just survival as they fight for their BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS.
This world is so full of hate and its hard to even relate to even half of what some women go through, living in western society.

I think as Women we definitely go through so much more then what the world/society recognizes publicly and One thing that really helps me if I ever feel really low on my self, is reading amazing words from people who have been there and done that.
I love saving quotes to my phone and sharing them when I know someone needs a uplifting moment.
If you know someone that needs an uplifting moment, maybe pick one of the following and save it to share with them. I think as women we need to be there for each other and support each other no matter the circumstance. This world is hard enough without people throwing negative attitude or opinion on each other.

I don't want to sound all preachy so I'll stop at that and just share some of my favourites with you.
Keep in mind, I know that some of these might not relate to you. But at some point in my life, they spoke truth to ME so no judgy!
